For Members Outside the U.S.

PETA is only a registered charity in the United States, which may affect your eligibility for tax benefits. This may also limit the gift options presented in the information available to you on these webpages or in our materials that we may send you.

Canadians making a gift to PETA should use the same legal language and tax ID as members in the U.S. in a will and for other gifts such as bank accounts, insurance policies, etc. Learn more about considerations for Canadian supporters here.

Complimentary planning resources are available here or by emailing us at Legacy@peta.org.

PETA has affiliates in Germany, Hong Kong, India, the Netherlands, Asia and the U.K., all of which are registered charities in their respective countries only. PETA Australia and PETA France are not registered charities but can receive bequests.

Some types of legacy gifts discussed on this website are available only to supporters who have U.S.-generated income. Learn more about considerations for Canadian supporters here.
